A large part of the tri-topia experience is centered around our small holding.
Just beyond the boundary of the accommodation and gardens, the small
holding provides us with the majority of our fresh homegrown produce. (we
only use natural fertilizers and pest control: and yes, you can taste the
difference!)
As well as tending the various fruit and vegetable allotments, we also
have various livestock including chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigs
and a goat. Through our own 'little ones', we've found that children
really enjoy helping out at the various animals feeding times: picking
berries to make a pudding or planting some vegetables in the
childrens allotment. Collecting the eggs in the morning or even just
doing a spot of watering are also firm favourites: It's something we
really encourage, and your children are free to get involved if you
so wish. Consider it an easy way to add to your child's
entertainment while you relax or train.
